Social and ethical responsibility has always been at the heart of our business ethos.

With increasing consumer awareness, this is a significant consideration for the public and all responsible retailers. Our strict compliance procedures are built based on 40 years of experience in producing home textiles overseas.

In all cases we strive to exceed the minimum labour standards outlined by the ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) Base Code and its principles of implementation. All of our suppliers are required to complete an annually renewed ethical audit, carried out by an independent third party in accordance with one of the internationally recognised standards such as SMETA, BSCI, SA 8000 or WRAP.

In addition, Turner Bianca is a SEDEX AB member, and the mission at SEDEX is to supply data-driven insights, tools, and services to help companies continuously improve environmental, social and governance (ESG) outcomes.

Our Ethical Manager, Product Technologists and regional office staff work closely with our partner suppliers to reinforce our ethical values and monitor implementation of procedures to meet and evolve our ethical requirements. One of which, is our involvement in several projects with multiple suppliers on gender empowerment and equality.

Many of our supply partners are leaders in their field and the business that we bring to them helps generate the investment necessary to constantly improve the working conditions for employees. Turner Bianca recognises that ethical sourcing is key to the building of a strong international supply business.

Turner Bianca also has strict policies to ensure compliance to the EU REACH regulations and our own Responsible Cotton Sourcing Policy.
